Scottish ski-ing from the comfort of a motorhome!
If you are planning to ski in Scotland, why not do it in style?
We have just had a fantastic weekend at Glenshee. We left from our base here in Kinross and picked up our skis and equipment en-route from the fabulously helpful and friendly Cally’s Ski Hire in Blairgowrie. By picking up our kit the night before and heading up to Glenshee we were able to park right by the lifts and be on the slopes at first light, avoiding all the traffic and the queues (we had a fab breakfast when we got there :)).
You can also stay overnight there, as they have hook ups (best to contact the ski centre in advance to check they have space).
Parking close to the lift also meant it was very simple to pop back to the motorhome for coffee, cakes, lunch, a rest etc.
Our motorhomes are really well insulated, so they are really cosy at night even in sub zero temperatures, and if you’re off adventuring at this time of year, we can make sure they have good winter tyres.
This is definitely the civilised way to do Scottish skiing!
